Hans Buch A/S can offer different types of Autopilots for ships. Please see below for different models.
Autopilot NautoPilot 5000
The Anschütz NautoPilot® 5000 is the most innovative autopilot in the market – with its advanced technology, a most precise steering performance, optimized handling and outstanding features the NP 5000 is setting new standards for autopilots. Ease of use – NP 5000 features a large graphical display which offers different day and night modes. Clearly arranged functions are operated via hard keys and touch screen. You will feel familiar with the autopilot after a few minutes due to its intuitive operation philosophy.
Nautopilot NP60 (For ships less than 60 m)
The NautoPilot NP60 ensures safe navigation on board of all small vessels from 10 up to 60 m length. Best steering performance at low speed and high speed up to 70 knots (approved according to the IMO-HSC - for High Speed Crafts). The heading is set by turning a knob. During "trim mode" the rudder can be set by dodge function keys. Selectable functions are "Heading control", "Track control", "Manual steering" and "Work mode" with second parameter set. With the watch alarm the system can be adjusted for optimum safety under all cruising conditions.
Audible alarms is acknowledged with the Set-key. Additional monitoring devices can be connected. For heading control, gyro and magnetic or fluxgate compass can be connected. Through automatic adaptation to the ship's speed, the control behaviour of the NP60 is continuously optimized. Course changes are carried out with operator selectable turn rates.
Pilotstar D (For ships between 60-110 m)
With its design and simple operation, the PilotStar D is especially conceived for small professional vessels as well as yachts. For course control, gyro- and magnetic- or fluxgate compasses can be connected. Through automatic adaptation to the ship's speed, the control behavior of the PilotStar D is continuously optimized.
Course changes are carried out with selectable rate of turn. Course monitoring (set course/magnetic compass reference) and steering gear monitoring are integrated into the system; all control parameters are displayed continuously. Two sets of parameters can be stored for different sailing conditions.
The simple operation of the equipment ensures safe navigation: the course is set via a turn knob, as well as membrane keys including dodge function.
NautoPilot 20X5 Series (For ships longer than 110 m)
NAUTOPILOT 2000, designed as an adaptive digital autopilot, is intended both for sea-going ships of all size and for combiships (sea/river). The system is a further development of the successful NAUTOPILOT D/A series - installed on over 5,000 ships. - connectable to all integrated bridge systems - compatible with all established ECDIS - radarpilot interface - GPS-/DGPS interface
